About the role
Do you want to play a key role in ensuring high quality property valuations across the Nordics? We are now looking for an Internal Valuer to join our Nordic team. In this role, you will contribute to secure and consistent valuation processes that support our mortgage lending activities in Sweden, Norway, and Finland.
As an Internal Valuer, you will be responsible for reviewing and approving property valuations used as collateral for mortgage loans. You will perform desktop valuations, review onsite valuations performed by real estate agents, and support mortgage specialists in cases where additional review is required. The role also includes contributing to process improvements, quality assurance, and knowledge sharing within our Nordic organization. You will report to Head of Operational Services based in Stockholm and you will also have a close collaboration with our Valuation Lead also based in Stockholm.
Main responsibilities
- Review and approve valuations of private residences used as mortgage collateral
- Assess deviations between statistical and onsite valuations
- Perform desktop valuations
- Evaluate uncertainty factors and ensure valuations are consistent with internal policies and market conditions
- Support mortgage specialists when statistical valuations cannot be used or are deemed non representative
- Document and report deviations from valuation guidelines
- Provide feedback, guidance, and training to mortgage specialists in valuation related topics
- Contribute to continuous improvement of valuation processes and internal competence
Your background
- University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Real Estate, or relevant work experience
- Experience from the financial or real estate sector – for example as an internal valuer, credit officer, or real estate agent
- Good understanding of residential valuation methods and principles
- Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills
- Fluent in English and at least one Nordic language (Norwegian, Swedish or Finnish), both spoken and written
Meriting qualifications
- Autorisert kreditt, SwedSec license or similar certification
- Experience with valuation systems such as VD Pro, Valueguard, UC Bostad, Eiendomsverdi, Asiakastieto, KVKL Hintaseurantapalvelu
- Knowledge of several Nordic housing markets

Location
Oslo (or Stockholm). This is a Nordic role, and you will work closely with colleagues across all three markets.
