About the role
As a Credit Risk Analyst at Enity Bank, you will play a key role in strengthening our data-driven credit risk capabilities. You will apply hands-on credit analysis to drive transformation and modernization of the Bank’s underwriting processes with the ambition to automate and simplify while maintaining excellent credit quality and compliance.
Your work will directly influence the bank’s financial outcomes and strategic direction.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and development of automated and data-driven credit decisioning.
- Support initiatives focused on digitalisation and process optimisation.
- Apply statistical, econometric and machine learning techniques to enhance model performance and predictive accuracy.
- Conduct data analysis using Python, SQL, SAS or other analytical tools.
- Build and improve scoring models, risk parameters and quantitative credit frameworks.
- Support the Nordic credit process with analysis, risk assessment and preparation of decision materials.
- Ensure alignment with Nordic regulatory requirements and internal risk frameworks.
- Maintain and develop the Bank’s IFRS 9 models (PD, LGD, EAD).
- Produce clear, actionable reports, insights and recommendations for senior management and credit committees.
- Test and validate new models, business rules and system components to ensure robust production use.
- Document, justify and defend model design, assumptions and performance during internal validation processes and external audits.
Qualifications
- Several years of experience in credit risk, quantitative modelling, risk analytics or a related field within banking/finance — experience with mortgages or retail credit is a strong plus.
- Proven experience developing automated credit processes, digital decision flows or data-driven credit systems.
- Strong understanding of Nordic credit regulations, risk frameworks.
- Solid expertise in quantitative analysis, credit modelling and portfolio analytics, including scoring models, ECL/IFRS 9, and model performance evaluation.
- Academic degree in finance, economics, mathematics, statistics, data science, engineering or another quantitative discipline.
- Strong programming skills in Python, SQL,and/or SAS with the ability to build analytical pipelines and work closely with engineering/data teams.
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders and collaborating across technical and business functions in a regulated environment.
- Communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
