Financial Reporting & Controls Specialist
About Enity Bank Group
Since 2005, we’ve been challenging the Nordic mortgage market by thinking differently – and more inclusively. We exist for those who often fall between the cracks of the traditional banking system, offering sustainable and responsible mortgages that truly make a difference.
Enity is a listed company with strong brands including Bluestep Bank, Bank2 and 60plusbanken. Together, we operate in Sweden, Norway and Finland, helping people enter the housing market, re-mortgage expensive debt, or save safely and smartly.
At Enity, you’ll be part of challenging conventions, driving change, and creating real value. We believe that the combination of courage, care and innovation can create meaningful impact – both for our customers and for you as a colleague.
Want to help shape the future of banking? You’ll feel right at home at Enity.
Why join us?
At Enity Bank Group, your work isn’t just numbers on a page, it’s a reflection of the real economy. You’ll see how macro trends, interest rates, and the housing market shape our results, and you’ll be part of a team that values curiosity, growth, and collaboration. Whether you come from banking, audit, or another financial background, if you’re interested in accounting, reporting, processes and controls, we want to hear from you.
Purpose of the role
To strengthen Enity’s financial reporting and internal control environment by supporting quarterly and annual reporting, contributing to the ICFR framework, and ensuring a robust and efficient month-end close process. The role is central in a listed group’s ability to deliver accurate, timely, and compliant financial information that adds value to stakeholders and builds confidence.
Key responsibilities
Support financial reporting: Prepare and support quarterly and annual financial reports for the bank and holding company, ensuring accuracy and compliance in a dynamic, listed environment. Your work will directly reflect what’s happening in the real economy and macroeconomic trends are part of your daily context.
Consolidation: Be hands-on in group consolidation, using systems such as Unit4 ERP and AARO to collect, validate, and report financial data. You’ll help ensure that our numbers tell the true story of the business across Sweden, Norway, and Finland.
Internal Controls (ICFR): Contribute to the ongoing management and documentation of the ICFR framework, updating documentation, coordinating control testing, and following up on identified issues. Your work helps safeguard the integrity of our financial reporting and supports audit readiness.
Month-end close activities: Participate in month-end close tasks and analytical reviews. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be close to the business, gaining insight into how financial results are shaped by real transactions and decisions and will learn a lot about the bank’s operations.
Process improvement: Help identify and implement improvements in reporting, consolidation, and control processes. You’ll have the opportunity to drive change and make a tangible impact on how we work.
Collaboration: Work closely with Treasury, Risk, Compliance, Business Control, and other teams to resolve reporting and control-related questions. You’ll be part of a collaborative environment where your input matters.
Ad hoc support: Contribute to various finance projects and analysis assignments as needed, supporting the team and the wider business.
Required competence and experience
5+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting or audit that includes a good understanding of IFRS and statutory reporting requirements.
Solid understanding and hands-on experience with accounting for transactions, classification of transactions, and the principles applied in the balance sheet and income statement.
Strong experience in monthly closing and reconciliation processes, with the ability to identify, follow up, and resolve differences.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Experience with internal control frameworks (ICFR), including documentation, testing, and remediation.
Comfortable drafting narrative reporting text and working under tight deadlines.
Structured, organized, and able to properly document and reference work performed.
Collaborative, curious, and able to operate in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with consolidation and reporting systems is an advantage.
Ability to work with datasets and an interest in data analysis; familiarity with writing basic SQL queries or similar tools is an advantage, but not a requirement
Swedish and English language skills (both written and spoken).
Who you are
You’re hands-on, delivery-oriented, and take tasks through to completion. You have strong attention to detail while keeping the big picture in mind. You’re curious, self-driven, and eager to learn, regardless of whether your background is in banking or another financial field. You’re a proactive problem solver who converts analysis into action, and you communicate clearly with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
While experience working in finance within a bank or listed company is an advantage, it is not a requirement. If you have a strong interest in financial reporting and internal controls and are eager to learn and develop in a dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply. We value curiosity, adaptability, and a willingness to grow just as highly as direct industry experience.
Sound interesting?
We look forward to hear from you! With the holidays coming up, we will start the selection process and interviews in January. If you would like more information or have questions about the role, please contact HR@enity.com.
Embracing inclusivity, we value each candidate based on their skills and experience. There is no need to include a photo in your application.
