About the role
As a Senior Data Engineer in Enity, you will build and maintain secure and reliable data pipelines and platforms that support business decision-making, reporting, analytics, risk management and compliance. The role involves working with large volumes of financial and other data, ensuring data quality and governance, integrating data from multiple systems, and collaborating with analysts, product teams, and other stakeholders across the bank. In addition, you will help modernize our data architecture, improve performance, and ensure solutions meet regulatory and security requirements.
As a data engineer at Enity you will report to the Chief Data Officer and be part of the Data & Analytics team, a tightly knit group of professionals consisting of data engineers, analysts, a product owner, and area leads for Credit, Collection and Valuation.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and implement robust data pipelines and data integration solutions.
• Develop and maintain databases and data warehouses.
• Ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of the data infrastructure.
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand their data requirements and ensure seamless data flow.
• Implement data governance and security measures to protect sensitive information.
Main tasks
• Develop, construct, test, and maintain architectures, such as databases and processing systems.
• Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional and non-functional business requirements.
• Identify, design, and implement process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, and re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability.

Required skills and competencies
• A minimum of five years of experience working as a data engineer.
• Strong expertise with regards to data pipeline and workflow management tools.
• Knowledge of various data storage and processing solutions (e.g., relational databases, data lakes, etc).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and other programming languages used in data engineering.
• Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• A collaborative, curious and pragmatic mindset with a strong getting things done mentality.
We are really impressed if you also:
• Have experience working with and/or migrating to Microsoft Fabric, or experience with the Microsoft Azure Data stack in general.
• Experience with using and/or enabling LLMs for data engineering and data science tasks, including building and maintaining RAG implementations, agentic systems, etc.
• Proficiency in Swedish is meritorious but not required.

For this position, we offer a monthly salary starting at SEK 60.000. However, we recognize that experience and unique expertise matter, so there is flexibility to offer a higher salary for the right candidate.
