About the role

We are looking for a senior engineer with a strong backend profile to help us modernize banking technology and create seamless digital experiences for our customers. If you enjoy solving complex problems and working with modern tech stacks and are excited about leveraging AI in your everyday development, this could be the role for you.

What You'll Be Doing

As part of our cross-functional team, you'll design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable applications in a cloud-based, microservice-oriented environment. You'll collaborate closely with product owners, designers, and fellow engineers to continuously improve our platforms and deliver high-quality user experiences.

Tech Stack

We work in a modern .NET environment:

• .NET and C# for backend development

• Microservices communicating via RabbitMQ and REST APIs

• Azure, Kubernetes, and Docker for cloud infrastructure

• GitHub and GitHub Actions for source control and CI/CD (currently migrating from Azure DevOps)

• Angular and TypeScript on the frontend (occasional interaction expected)

• AI-assisted development with GitHub Copilot and Claude Code as part of our everyday workflow
  

About you

More than anything, we're looking for the right person. Solid technical experience matters. You'll need a strong background in .NET, cloud (ideally Azure), and modern backend development. But for us the bigger signal is how you work and learn. You're the kind of person who wants to understand why something works, not just that it does. You have real drive: you spot problems and bring ideas forward instead of waiting for someone to assign them.

You're already using AI in your daily development, or you're eager to figure out how to get the most out of it. You like sharing what you know, and you learn just as eagerly from others. You can explain technical decisions to product owners, designers, and other non-engineers in a way that lands, and you take feedback seriously when it comes back to you. Experience from financial services is a plus, but not required. The right mindset is.

For this position, we offer a monthly salary starting at SEK 50.000. However, we recognize that experience and unique expertise matter, so there is flexibility to offer a higher salary for the right candidate.
