Business Controller
A strategic finance role for someone who wants to be close to the business and make insights matter.
About Enity Bank Group
At Enity, we believe in people’s potential. We’re challenging the Nordic mortgage market by making banking more inclusive, sustainable, and human. As a listed company with the brands Bluestep Bank, Bank2 and 60plusbanken, we offer mortgages to those often excluded by traditional banks – for example, due to self-employment, employment type, age, or credit history.
We operate across Sweden, Norway and Finland, and we’re on a mission to shape the future of banking – together.
About the role
We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Business Controller to join our CFO Office. In this role, you will be close to the business and contribute to the continued growth, profitability and development of our mortgage business.
Reporting to the CFO, you will act as a strategic finance partner to senior management, working closely with leaders across Commercial functions, Treasury, Risk and Support functions.
Your impact
You will strengthen financial performance management across our mortgage portfolios and turn complex data into clear, actionable insights:
Monitor and analyse business performance across mortgage portfolios, products, channels and customer segments.
Prepare monthly management reporting, forecasts and business reviews for senior stakeholders.
Develop and maintain profitability models and translate findings into clear recommendations.
Lead and support budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning processes.
Perform scenario analysis related to loan growth, funding costs, credit losses and macroeconomic developments.
Support pricing, product development, business cases and strategic initiatives with clear financial analysis.
You will also help improve Finance processes, reporting tools, data quality and management information capabilities.
What you bring
You likely have an academic background in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent.
We believe you have a strong finance background and enjoy combining analytical depth with close business partnering.
At least five years of experience from business control, FP&A, banking finance or a related field.
Strong understanding of financial services, lending economics and preferably regulated banking.
Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and turning analysis into recommendations.
Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities.
Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting tools.
Experience with large data sets and BI platforms such as Power BI, Tableau or similar.
Familiarity with IFRS accounting principles and banking performance metrics.
About you
We are looking for someone who combines strong analytical skills with commercial judgement and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.
Strategic, detail-oriented and commercially driven.
Clear and confident communicator who builds trust with senior stakeholders.
Constructive challenger who is proactive, solution-oriented and collaborative.
What success looks like
Within the first 12 months, you will have established yourself as a trusted finance partner, strengthened transparency around mortgage portfolio performance and contributed to tangible profitability and efficiency improvements.
We offer
We offer a competitive compensation package complemented by a generous range of benefits, and flexibility to support your work-life balance.
For this position, we offer a monthly salary starting at SEK 70 000. However, we recognize that experience and unique expertise matter, so there is flexibility to offer a higher salary for the right candidate.
Sound interesting?
We would be happy to see your application as soon as possible as the selection is ongoing. If you would like more information or have questions about the role, please contact HR@enity.com. We look forward to hear from you!
Embracing inclusivity, we value each candidate based on their skills and experience. There is no need to include a photo in your application.
